Portiate is a family run business which started in yacht chartering in 1996 located in Portimao (Algarve), having also an office in Lisbon. Later Jose Taveira, the founder of the company expanded into other services, such as
yearly yacht maintenance for boat owners, yacht program management, sales and equipment instalation.
